This 5 ton microscope
stands outside the combined agricultural labs of the State of Oregon in
Wilsonville. It is topped by an insect based on the Megarhyssa Wasp, a
benign wasp that feeds on problematic borer beetles. The wings are
borrowed from a Lacewing or Dragonfly, and are free to flap in the
breeze. Commissioned by State of Oregon.
