Alphabet Soup
The main section is a cascade of 15” cube stainless steel letters tumbling over the front wall of the library. Around the library campus paths and neighboring arroyo are letters etched and stained into the concrete. Vinyl adhesive roadway letters dot the citywide bike path that crosses the campus, and a free-standing stack of stainless letters lives in the median of the adjacent boulevard. Commissioned by the City of Albuquerque for the Erna Fergusson Library.
