The Da'an
Flower
A public art project for the MRT, Taipei's transit
authority. The sculpture stands outside the new Da'an Forest Park
station of the subway. The six petals overlap each other spirally, and as
the hand-crank below is turned, the petals move, expanding to become an open
flower or closing into a tight circle.
